The 4.4 cm tooth of Palaocarcharodon Orientalis is in a very good state of preservation. The dentition is very sharp and beautifully preserved, as are the two characteristic lateral teeth. The enamel is shiny and brightly coloured with reddish elements. The Paleocarcharodon is also known as the white dwarf shark and lived in the Paleocene. The tooth has minimal repair at the root.
