The 3.2 cm large tooth of the Isurus planus as a pendant has a beautifully coloured blue and light enamel, as well as a narrow brown tooth root. The tooth root and parts of the enamel have been polished. The eyelet is made of 10 carat gold wire. Isurus planus is an extinct relative of Cosmopolitodus hastalis from the Upper Miocene.
