The 12.6 cm tooth of Carcharocles Megalodon has a shiny grey-blue enamel with fine and sharp serrations. Smaller notches are visible in the serration on one side. The black bourelette is still recognisable and partially preserved. The root of the tooth, which is also black, has been eroded and smoothed by millions of years in the sea.
