12.3 cm grey sharp tooth of the Megalodon

The 12.3 cm tooth of the Carcharocles megalodon was found by a diver off the coast of Savannah in Georgia. The shiny enamel is grey in colour and shows some patterning. The dentition is beautifully preserved and sharp. Part of the black shiny bourelette is also still preserved. Due to the many millions of years in the sea, the tooth shows chipping of the enamel on the front and back. Furthermore, the tooth has a beautiful symmetry.
