12.2 cm large multifaceted coloured sharp tooth of the Megalodon
The 12.2 cm tooth of Carcharocles megalodon was found in a river in South Carolina. The tooth has a well-preserved broad root. The dentition is large and razor sharp. The enamel (tooth enamel) is very richly coloured with brown, reddish and blue elements. Due to its shape, the tooth comes from the upper jaw of the prehistoric giant. The black bourelette is mostly still preserved.
