9.8 cm dark shiny tooth of the Megalodon

The 9.8 cm tooth of Carcharocles Megalodon comes from the lower jaw of the prehistoric giant. Due to its relatively compact shape, it is one of the rear or molar teeth. The shiny enamel is dark and mostly black. The teeth are beautifully preserved and recognizable and palpable. The shiny, wide bourelette is wonderfully preserved. The matte tooth root has naturally been smoothed over millions of years in the sea. A smaller, solid tooth with a distinctive dark color.
