5.4 cm very beautiful mako shark tooth

The 5.4 cm tooth of the Cosmopolitodus hastalis (mako shark) is very symmetrical and comes from the shark's upper jaw. The tooth is in very good condition. The enamel is blue and patterned, and the edges are sharp. The tooth root is very well preserved, except for a small crack, with recognizable nutrient grooves in the middle. These small holes in the root supplied the tooth with nutrients during the shark's lifetime. A wonderful collector's item with a good size.
