The 10.5 cm tooth of Carcharocles Chubutensis has a wonderfully preserved, razor-sharp serration and tip. The black shiny bourlette is partially preserved. The Carcharocles Chubutensis is the direct ancestor of the Megalodon. Carcharocles Auriculatus -> Carcharocles Angustidens -> Carcharocles Chubutensis -> Carcharocles Megalodon
