9.2 cm dagger-shaped tooth of the Megalodon with attached barnacles

The 9.2 cm tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon comes from the lower jaw of the prehistoric shark and has a slightly curved tooth crown. The enamel is gray-brown in color and shiny. The darker gray tooth root has been smoothed over the many millions of years in the sea and the bourelette has been worn away. Barnacles still adhere to one corner of the tooth root, which makes the tooth from the lower jaw of the prehistoric giant very special.
