The 5.9 cm fossil tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon comes from the Western Sahara in Morocco. It is very rare to find fossilised teeth of the Megalodon in a good state of preservation in Morocco and they are therefore among the rarities. The tooth comes from a juvenile Megalodon and it has a beautifully preserved beige enamel and reddish-brown bourelette and tooth root. The serration is well preserved and very sharp. The tooth has minor damage but has not been repaired or restored.
