13.8 cm wide tooth of the Megalodon with polished tip

The 13.8 cm tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon has a broad brown root, which has been naturally smoothed over the many millions of years in the sea. The tooth is in a good state of preservation with shiny grey and brown enamel. The serration is still clearly visible on the sides. The tip of the tooth was manually polished and the top layer of the light-coloured enamel was removed. This reveals glittering brown and golden deposits that give this tooth its special appearance.
