The 13.0 cm large fossil tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon comes from the St. Mary River in Georgia. The tooth is in a very beautiful state of preservation. The enamel has a fantastic reddish colour and circular patterns on the lingual side. These are probably caused by adhering barnacles. On the other side, the enamel is predominantly light grey with reddish circles. The fine serration is beautifully preserved and razor sharp. The slightly darker brown root of the tooth has been slightly removed and smoothed. A very special tooth of the prehistoric giant, whose pictures speak for themselves.
