12.3 cm black tooth fragment of Megalodon

The 12.3 cm fossil tooth fragment of Carcharocles Megalodon is completely black, dagger-shaped and is one of the more massive specimens. The serration is still recognisable to some extent, as is the bourelette. The matt root of the tooth and part of the crown have been damaged by millions of years in the sea. The tooth comes from the lower jaw of the prehistoric giant and illustrates the size of the Megalodon.
