11.6 cm brown-grey tooth of the Megalodon

The 11.6 cm tooth of Carcharocles Megalodon appears very massive. The enamel is grey-brown in colour and the finer serration is well preserved and sharp. The darker root of the tooth has been worn away and eroded by the many millions of years in the sea, as has the black bourelette. The tooth was found in North Carolina.
