The 3.4 cm narrow tooth of the Mako shark as a pendant has a beautiful reddish-blue patterned enamel and a grey root with black spots. The root and parts of the enamel are polished and give the tooth a beautiful lustre. The eyelet is made of 10 carat gold wire. The Cosmopolitosus hastalis is a direct ancestor of today's mako sharks and great white sharks.
