7.9 cm grey tooth from a Megalodon

The 7.9 cm tooth of Carcharocles Megalodon has gray enamel with a striking dark pattern. Except for one chip, the serration is wonderfully preserved and noticeably sharp. The black bourelette is still partially visible. The matte black tooth root has been slightly worn away over millions of years.
