The 5.7 cm tooth of Carcharocles Megalodon from Bone Valley has brown patterned enamel and darker perfectly preserved bourelettes. The tip of the tooth is broken off and most of the serration is still preserved and sharp. The white root is in a very nice state of preservation. The Bone Valley region was considered the nursery of the Megalodon, which is why primarily smaller teeth are found here.
