5.1 cm massive posterior tooth of the Megalodon

The 5.1 cm fossil tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon comes from the posterior region of the dentition and is a so-called posterior tooth. These teeth are characterised by a massive broad root and small crown. The enamel is bluish in colour with reddish spots and the serration is still sharp.
