4.9 cm orange-brown tooth of the Megalodon

The 4.9 cm tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon from Bone Valley comes from the lower jaw of a juvenile megalodon due to its shape. The shiny enamel is wonderfully orange and brown in colour. The tip of the tooth is damaged, but the rest of the serration is wonderfully preserved and very sharp. The bourelette and root are also beautifully preserved. The Bone Valley region was considered the nursery of the Megalodon, which is why primarily smaller teeth are found here.
