14.6 cm large impressive tooth of the Megalodon from Indonesia

At 14.6 centimetres, this very large tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon was found in Cikalong in Indonesia. The tooth has a very multi-faceted, brightly colored enamel with a beige base color and yellow and reddish elements. This tooth of the Megalodon is very special because of the folds in the enamel and the strong undulations in the tooth at the transition to the tooth root. Such folds and waves only occur occasionally in very large teeth that grow quickly and have too little space in the jaw due to their size, so that they are compressed. The serration is perfectly preserved and razor sharp. The tooth has a reddish root, which appears quite natural and has no obvious repairs.
