4.9 cm beautifully preserved tooth from Mosasaurus

The 4.9 cm tooth of Mosasaurus beaugei is in very good condition and shows no signs of repair. The enamel is light brown with a darker coloration at the tip. The fine grain in the enamel is clearly visible.

Age:             approx. 83 to 66 million years (Campanian to Maastrichtian)
Location:    Kem Kem Formation near Taouz/Morocco
