The 4.6 cm long tooth of Mosasaurus beaugei has shiny brown enamel with a grained texture. The tooth shows minimal signs of repair, which is often the case with finds from Morocco. Mosasaurs were a globally widespread group of predatory marine reptiles during the Late Cretaceous period. These reptiles, which grew up to 17 meters long, were among the most dangerous carnivores in the Cretaceous oceans.
