The 4.0 cm tooth of Mosasaurus beaugei is in good condition with a sharp tip. The enamel is shiny and light brown. The tooth shows minor repairs, which is often the case with finds from Morocco. Mosasaurs were a group of predatory marine reptiles that were widespread throughout the world during the Late Cretaceous period. These reptiles, which grew up to 17 meters in length, were among the most dangerous carnivores in the Cretaceous oceans.
