3.0 cm beautiful tooth of the Mosasaurus

The 3.0 cm long tooth of Mosasaurus beaugei is beautifully preserved and has a brown enamel that darkens towards the tip.
The mosasaurs were a globally widespread group of predatory marine lizards in the Upper Cretaceous. The reptiles, which grew up to 17 metres long, were among the most dangerous carnivores in the Cretaceous oceans.
