7.4 cm sharp tooth of the Megalodon

The 7.4 cm fossil tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon has a beautifully preserved and very sharp serration. The shiny enamel is richly coloured from blue to reddish tones. The brown bourelette is still partially recognisable. In contrast to the well-preserved tooth crown, the dark brown tooth root has been damaged over the many millions of years in the sea. The tooth comes from the upper jaw of the prehistoric giant.
