7.3 cm black tooth of the Megalodon

The 7.3 cm large tooth of the Megalodon is completely black and has a nicely preserved bourelette and shiny enamel. The serration is still clearly visible and partly sharp.

Species:   Carcharocles Megalodon (Family: Otodontidae, Genius: Otodus)
Age:    ca. 3 – 20 million years old (Pliocene – early Miocene)
Location: Southeast of the USA (North Carolina, South Carolina or Georgia)
