The 7.3 cm tooth of Carcharocles megalodon has shiny grey enamel that shimmers blue depending on the light. The tip is slightly damaged and the rest of the serrations are clearly visible and noticeable. The narrow black bourelette is well preserved. The matt black tooth root has been slightly worn away over millions of years in the sea and smoothed naturally.
