6.9 cm sharp tooth of Otodus sokolovi

The 6.9 cm tooth of Otodus sokolovi has a very sharp beautifully preserved dentition. The two carcakteristic posterior teeth are wonderfully preserved, as is the white bourelette. The root of the tooth has been repaired in places. Otodus sokolovi is considered a transitional chronospecies between Carcharocles auriculatus and Carcharocles angustidens. This species grew up to 6 metres long.
