6.1 cm large light-coloured tooth of the Mosasaurus

The 6.1 cm long and curved tooth has a light-coloured and beautifully preserved enamel. The tooth was repaired at the root, which is often the case with finds from Morocco. The mosasaurs were a globally widespread group of predatory marine lizards in the Upper Cretaceous. The reptiles, which grew up to 17 metres long, were among the most dangerous carnivores in the Cretaceous oceans.
