6.1 cm brown tooth of the Megalodon

The 6.1 cm fossil tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon has a light brown enamel and reddish, well-preserved bourelettes. The darker brown root of the tooth has been eroded and damaged over the many millions of years in the sea. The tooth is dagger-shaped and comes from the lower jaw of the prehistoric giant.
