The 5.7 cm tooth of the CArcharocles Angustidens has a shiny blue enamel with darker elements The serration has been worn away over the many millions of years in the sea and the root of the tooth has been polished. The teeth of the Carcharocles angustidens had pointed cusps on the sides, although only one is still recognisable in this specimen. The Carcharocles angustidens is considered the ancestor of the megalodon and grew up to 10 metres long.
