The 5.5 cm Mako shark tooth pendant has a beautiful blue-grey coloured enamel with white stress lines. The root of the tooth is black and narrow and contrasts nicely with the lighter-coloured enamel. The tooth root and parts of the enamel are polished and give the tooth a beautiful lustre. The eyelet is made of sterling silver. The Cosmopolitosus hastalis is a direct ancestor of today's Mako sharks and the Great White shark.
