The 4.9 cm fossil tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon comes from the most posterior part of the dentition and is a so-called posterior tooth. The root of the tooth is very massive and slightly eroded by the many millions of years in the sea. It is light blue in colour with brownish elements and the serration is still sharp.
