4.7 cm large tooth of Mosasaurus beaugei

The 4.7 cm tooth of Mosasaurus beaugei is in a beautiful state of preservation and shows no obvious repairs. The mosasaurs were a globally widespread group of predatory marine lizards in the Upper Cretaceous. The reptiles, which grew up to 17 metres long, were among the most dangerous carnivores in the Cretaceous oceans.
