The 4.2 cm long tooth of Palaeocarcharodon Orientalis is in a good state of preservation of the tooth crown. The enamel is dark red and grey in colour with beautiful gradients. The serration is very sharp and well preserved, as are the typical lateral cusps. The root of the tooth has been restored, which is clearly visible in the pictures. The Paleocarcharodon is also known as the white dwarf shark and lived in the Palaeocene.
