The 3.9 cm tooth of Mosasaurus beaugei has multifaceted enamel and shows only minor repair work on the root, which is clearly visible in the images. Mosasaurs were a globally widespread group of predatory marine reptiles during the Late Cretaceous period. These reptiles, which grew up to 17 meters in length, were among the most dangerous carnivores in the Cretaceous oceans.
