The 3.4 cm large tooth of Isurus planus as a pendant has a beautifully coloured bluish enamel and a broad, light brown tooth root. The root and parts of the enamel have been polished. The eyelet is made of 10 carat gold wire. The Isurus planus is an extinct relative of today's mako sharks and great white sharks from the Upper Miocene.
