The 3.3 cm tall, narrow tooth of the Mako shark as a pendant has a beautiful light blue enamel and a darker brown tooth root. The root and parts of the enamel are polished and give the tooth a beautiful lustre. The eyelet is made of 10 carat gold wire. The Cosmopolitosus hastalis is a direct ancestor of today's Mako sharks and the Great White shark.
