The 3.0 cm tooth of the already extinct mako shark (Cosmopolitodus hastalis) has a bright, beautifully colored enamel. The root of the tooth is light brown. Due to the many millions of years in the sea, the tooth shows slight damage. The tooth was found in the south-east of the USA.
