The 5.4 cm tooth of Carcharocles Auriculatus has a dark blue enamel and the serration is still beautifully preserved and sharp. The teeth of the Carcharocles Auriculatus have large, serrated cusps on the sides, although only one is still beautifully preserved in this specimen. The Carcharocles auriculatus is considered the ancestor of the megalodon and grew up to 9 metres long.
