The 5.0 cm tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon from Bone Valley has a beautiful shiny orange enamel. The serration is beautifully preserved and sharp, except for the tip. The bourelette is also orange and perfectly preserved, as is the white root. The Bone Valley region was considered the nursery of the Megalodon, which is why primarily smaller teeth are found here.
