4.7 cm blue-grey tooth of Carcharocles angustidens

The 4.7 cm large tooth of the Carcharocles angustidens has a shiny grey-blue coloured enamel with brownish elements, depending on the incidence of light. The black bourelette is still clearly recognisable. The coarse serration is partially sharp. The teeth of the Carcharocles angustidens have pointed cusps on the sides, although unfortunately both are no longer present in this specimen. The Carcharocles angustidens is considered the ancestor of the megalodon and grew up to 10 metres long.
