14.3 cm massive tooth of the Megalodon

The 14.3 cm tooth of the Carcharocles megalodon impresses with its massiveness. The fine serration is almost perfectly preserved and razor-sharp. The shiny enamel is beautifully preserved and richly coloured with various shades of blue and grey. The black bourelette is dominant and in beautiful condition. The massive broad root is well preserved and the central cusp is prominent. The tooth was found by the diver with a crack on the left side that goes through the root and part of the enamel. To prevent the root part from breaking off, the crack was filled by the diver. The repair can be seen in the pictures. However, this minor blemish does not detract from the special nature of this massive tooth, whose pictures speak for themselves.
