2.6 cm pterosaur Siroccopteryx moroccensis tooth

2.6 cm dark tooth of the pterosaur Siroccopteryx moroccensis

The 2.6 cm long tooth of Siroccopteryx moroccensis has a dark, variously coloured enamel. Parts of the enamel are chipped off, which can be clearly seen in the pictures. The Siroccopteryx was named by its discoverers (Keller, Mader 1999) after the warm desert wind Sirocco and means wings of the Sirocco.
