2.3 cm small posterior tooth of the Megalodon

The 2.3 cm small tooth comes from a juvenile Carcharocles megalodon. The tooth is a posterior tooth, i.e. a tooth from the posterior region of the dentition of the prehistoric giant. The root of these teeth is wider and more massive in relation to the small crown. The enamel is grey-brown and the serration is still well preserved and sharp in places.
