13.4 cm solid sharp tooth of the Megalodon

The 13.4 cm tooth from Carcharocles Megalodon has brown-grey enamel with a richly coloured surface, which is very well preserved. The teeth are fine and razor-sharp. There is a small bite mark visible, which was made during the shark's lifetime. The black lacquer-like bourelette is well preserved. The tooth has a very solid gray root and crown, which is also reflected in its weight. The tooth comes from the upper jaw of the prehistoric giant and was found at a depth of approximately 15 meters off the coast of Savannah, Georgia.
