12.2 cm narrow dagger-shaped tooth of the Megalodon

The 12.2 cm tooth of Carcharocles megalodon is very narrow and dagger-shaped. The tooth comes from the anterior lower jaw of the prehistoric shark. The shiny enamel is brown with greyish colorations that stand out depending on the incidence of light. The fine dentition is still clearly visible. The broader brown bourelette is almost completely present. The brown matt tooth root has been slightly smoothed over the many millions of years in the sea and barnacles are still attached to its center.
