The 12.8 cm tooth of Carcharocles megalodon has a dagger-like shape and comes from the lower jaw of the prehistoric giant. The tooth has well-preserved brown enamel and beautifully preserved, partially sharp teeth. Most of the dark brown bourelette is still present. The grey root of the tooth has been eroded and abraded by millions of years in the sea.
