11.4 cm long narrow tooth of the Megalodon

The 11.4 cm long tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon has a narrow heart-like shape. The enamel is grey-brown in colour and well preserved. The existing serration is still clearly recognisable and sharp in places. The darker root of the tooth is quite broad and has been eroded and polished over the many millions of years in the sea.
