11.0 cm dark wide tooth of Megalodon

The 11.0 cm wide tooth of Carcharocles Megalodon was found at a depth of about 12 meters off the coast of Georgia. The serration is still partly well recognizable and the dark enamel in a good state of preservation.

Species: Carcharocles Megalodon (Family: Otodontidae, Genius: Otodus)
Age: ca. 3 – 20 million years old (Pliocene – early Miocene)
